Term, baby term. Disco. Inferno.
1) I wear my sunglasses inside, so I can...so I can....take a quick photo before I run back outside because the little ones are scrubbing their toys and I'm hearing someone yelling "Mary is drinking out of the dog bowl! Again!"
2) Disassembled crib against the wall which has been sitting there for an entire week waiting for some tandem Dweej/Tommy attention. Obvi we are really on top of things 'round here.
3) Tiny dress. Because it was hot-as-hades today and all my everything look tiny on me right now. I mean srsly look at those arms. I could take out Insert Name of Large Football Player Here with that arm.
4) Impressive odor (not pictured) because I decided that today- TODAY!- the big girls and I would put together the new bunk beds for Katie and Cecilia's room because this baby will not be born into a bedroom that still regularly houses his 4 year old sister. No. He will not. And what better way to get someone to act like a big girl than to give her her very own big girl bed?
Work with me people.
Anyway, wanna see my 37 week Mary belly? Yes? Aqui.
Also, birthday guessing time! I love reading everyone's guesses.
Here's your info so you can be correct:
Katie: Induced at 41 weeks 1 day, 7 lbs. 13 oz. (I maintain that she was not actually late but that the due date was wrong because I had no idea about anything at the time.)
Lizzy: Spontaneous labor at 38 weeks 6 days, 7 lbs. 3 oz.
Paul: Spontaneous labor at 38 weeks 4 days, 7lbs. 6 oz.
Cecilia: Spontaneous labor at 39 weeks 5 days, 7lbs. 0 oz.
Mary: Spontaneous labor at 40 weeks straight up, 8lbs 4 oz. (eat all the things!)
Pointy Bird (boy): Due date May 29th. Insert your guess here. But not really. In the combox.
Go!
June 4th. I'm sorry. someone had to go there though. ;)
ReplyDeleteI forgive you because my own husband said June 3rd. Oy!
DeleteMay 26 9 lbs. 6 oz.
ReplyDeleteMay 24th 8 lbs 6 oz
ReplyDeleteI'm going to say May 23rd. That's my #4 girl's birthday so it's super lucky and all that. :)
ReplyDeleteAre we guessing size, too? I won't go with #4 girl's weight . . . 10 lbs. But I'm thinking PB has sister Mary beat. I'll go with 9 lbs, 2 oz -- 2 of my babies were that size and it was actually weirdly manageable. :)
DeleteFeast of the Visitation. 10# (hope I'm wrong!)
ReplyDeleteMay 21st at 1pm 8lbs 0 oz Oh this is exciting! Beautiful mama!
ReplyDeleteMay 21st... baby 8 pounds 6 ounces.
ReplyDeleteWell let's see my youngest turns 1 on May 17th. My husband's B-day is 19th, and my DD turns 7 on the 30th. So anyone of those will be fine. ;) we'll say 8lbs 15oz.
ReplyDeleteMay 28th and.....7 lbs., 13 oz. Why, you might ask? Because I said, so, said I.
ReplyDeleteI am pulling for May 19 at around 3ish in the afternoon. Perhaps with Jen Fulwiler and Skype being involved.
ReplyDeleteJune 4th would be great because that's my daughter's first birthday, but that's not my guess. My guess is May 30th. 9lbs 15oz
ReplyDeleteMy guess is May 17 (my daughters baptism day) and 9lb 5oz
ReplyDeleteI guess May 20 at the LATEST. And that baby might be two babies.
ReplyDeleteAnd 24 inches!
ReplyDeleteToo easy!
ReplyDeleteMay 28th, 9lbs 3oz.
I'm going with the next full moon, May 14th! How about 8 el bee's, 7 ounces?
ReplyDeleteMay 22nd - I'm hoping if I guess a week after my due date, I might beat you… mine like to stay in forever though, and I'm measuring on the smaller side this pregnancy, so there's a fabulous chance your boy will beat mine.
ReplyDeleteNot to be mean, but pretty sure he's gotta be at least 9 lb 5 oz and 22 inches. May it be your easiest birth yet!
May 24th and 9lbs 1 oz. looking as fabulous as ever over there!! :)
ReplyDeleteMay 21, because I'll be at our homeschool group's mom's night out and will have a margarita for you (salut), and 10lbs, because I've had an almost 10 pounder and well, just sayin' ;)
ReplyDeleteYou look just BEAUTIFUL!
May 14th, I believe in optimism! 9lbs. 13ozs. 22" long. Cheering for you no matter what!
ReplyDeleteSaturday May 17th I'm thinking he has to be at least 9lbs 8oz and 22 inches.
ReplyDeleteUgh, all through your pregnancy I've been gunning for June 1, since it's my own big birthday (3-0), but I just CANNOT now. So may 18th, 9lbs even is my new guess. I'll be invoking St. Elizabeth, who was my randomly-generated saint of the year (and my daughter's patron via middle name) for you and PB.
ReplyDeleteMay 20, 9 lbs 15 oz. !
ReplyDeleteMay 20. 9 pounds, 6 oz.
ReplyDeleteMay 26th, 9 lb 12 oz. You're going to relax over the long weekend and go into labor just in time to reprieve Tommy from work on Tuesday. I did this last year by giving birth on Easter after a whole week at home together. :)
ReplyDeleteMay 23, 9 lbs 9 oz
ReplyDeleteMay 21, 9 lbs 3 oz
ReplyDelete7 pounds even and May 13th (Our Lady of Fatima), and 6 pounds 13 ounces for his twin (-:
ReplyDeleteMay 19, 10 lbs 6 oz. And 2' long! (Side note: I was 11-1 and 24" in 1978, so they had no idea before I came out, my mom said it was doable. Go moms!) Nonetheless, will be praying to St Anne for you to have a great labor and delivery of PB, and that all his bigness will be squish and not frame.
ReplyDeleteAlso you look fabulous!
DeleteMay 14. Early I know, but it's Not only my Birthday but also the Day of my First doctor's appointment during this new pregnancy. Good luck for both Mamas And Babies !
ReplyDeleteMay 29th (Feast of the Ascension for awesomeness) 9lb 1oz because that was my biggest baby, and that seemed plenty big.
ReplyDeleteMay 19th. Baby A: 7lbs, 14oz. Baby B: 6lbs, 12oz.
ReplyDeleteI am not guessing, because I am soooooo angry at you for having practically none of your babies post-dates when ALL of mine were post-dates. I don't say "late," because it isn't like they knew when they were supposed to come. And anyway it's my husband's fault that they stayed in there so long. I am going to blog about this. But I hope you have that baby soon and easily!
ReplyDeleteMay 27th . 9lbs 5 oz.
ReplyDeleteMay 22 - 8lbs 8oz
ReplyDeleteTONIGHT !!!!!!!
ReplyDelete8 pounds 21 inches long.
GOOD LUCK !!
I will be thinking about you and asking St. Jude to pray for you
May 26th -- 7 lb, 7 oz.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds a bit late to me, but I'm going to have to go with my own first baby's birthday: May 31. 9 pounds 0 oz.
ReplyDeleteBy the way - my peanut that was measuring small all the way through the pregnancy and threatening to come early? Born at 40w5d and 9 lbs 1 oz.
39 weeks, 2 days and 8 lbs 3 oz.
ReplyDeleteMay 27 10 pounds even (sorry!)
ReplyDeleteSince we are "due" a day apart, me with #7 and you with #6... I will go with the date my little one will be evicted, if we make it that far: May 27th. And hm.... 8lbs 10 oz.
ReplyDeleteMay 25th. And I still think it is twins. So 6 lbs 10 oz and 6 lbs 4 oz are my guesses for the two babies!
ReplyDeleteMay 24th (because that's my daughter's birthday :) ), 8 lb 11 oz. Praying for an easy delivery and all things happy!
ReplyDeleteNot knowing your exact date/days, I guess 38 weeks 2 days, whenever that may fall, and...8 lbs 10 oz because that's what my son weighed :) Excited!
ReplyDeleteOops! Can't believe I didn't include that. May 29th is the current due date :)
DeleteMay 25, because that's my baby sis Hannah's birthday and she's pretty cool, mostly. Weight? He's gotta be at least 9 lbs. Let's say...9 lbs, 4 oz. Exactly a pound more than Mary. :)
ReplyDeleteMay 22nd (because it is my birthday) and 7lb. 9 oz. I am so happy for you :-)
ReplyDeleteMay 26th, 10 lbs even! :o) And may the labor and birth be an empowering, beautiful experience that brings you closer to God and His grace. <3
ReplyDeleteOh, I'ma gonna be a hater, Dweej and say that the baby will be 7 lbs., 13 oz. For some reason, my babies keep getting smaller even though I keep getting bigger and I don't want to be the only one like that! (Selfish, I know).
ReplyDeleteBut I'll be nice about the due date. Let's say next Tuesday, May 14.
I can't even be mad because I'm afraid you're right!
DeleteMay 25th, (sorry about the next part) 9 lbs even. If I can birth 9 lb babies, so can you! Though just to be clear, I'm not wishing this on you... hopefully this baby is smaller!! Also, I haven't entirely given up on twins. ;)
ReplyDeleteMay 22. Feast of St. Rita. 9 lbs 6 oz.
ReplyDeleteJune 1 (sorry) and 9 lbs, 4 oz, because that is what my son weighed and I was even more huge than you are!
ReplyDeleteMay 29. 9 lbs. 13 oz. Totally doable. Four of mine were WAY bigger than that. :-)
ReplyDeleteMay 26th. 8 lbs, 7 oz. You look beautiful, BTW :)
ReplyDelete9 lb 12 oz.
ReplyDeleteMay 22.
Do we win a prize?
Jeanette, using her son's blog thing.
I'm going to pick my birthday, May 20th. 7:30ish pm to be precise. Annnndd...8lbs 15 oz?? He's gotta be big, but lets hope he keeps the exit plan in mind!
ReplyDeleteMay 21st. 7 pounds 8 ounces, 22" born at 4:15 in the morning. And happy and perfect, just as he is in there!
