7 Quick Takes Friday vol. 3: I'm guest posting!

Happy Friday!

Happy not-the-Apocalypse!

(for those of you who were saying a Novena to the patron saint of blogging that Blogger would come back on-line, you know what I'm talking about)

Today I'm guest posting over at Narragansett No. 7 so if you'd like to see a very different side of Dweej, totally unrelated to rural living and chasing insane dogs/children around, feel free to stop by.  Be warned though- it's not my usual brand of lighthearted silliness sprinkled with a dash of Jesus.

For those of you who'd like to remain naive to that other side,  here are seven of my favorite posts that you may not have read yet.

And check me out...7 things means I'm linking up with Jen over at Conversion Diary.  Whut whut!

  1. Awesome! I have some reading to do tonight, when I get home from work. Thanks for the list.

And if you read my post today, no. Today's not the end of the world. That's next week. ;)

  4. Hmmm. For some reason I have read all those posts. Oh, probably because I insanely stalk your blog every day since the day it started. What?

Now I will go read your guest post! :D

P.S. You should totally wear your hair like that next time you go to Walmart!!! ;)

  5. So....are you thrilled with the response to your post? You are such a talented writer and I love that you stepped outside of your comfort zone and took that plunge. The piece is haunting and lonely. I never really knowingly include metaphors in my memoir pieces, but they tend to work themselves in. So, I love that you provided the sensation of "cold" in the hard floor and the shower as a metaphor for your solitude and self-sufficiency. You were just a little girl...Now I might cry. Boy, do I get that post. HUGS xoxoxoxoxo

  7. I only wish I could blame my lunacy on wine. Sadly, these things just...happen ;)
