Despite the fact that I think my children are, like, all amazing and wonderful and stuff, I realized when I
Aha! Collage of Antics!
But because I am a neanderthal, I've never made a photo collage before today. I know, right?!?!? I should just get in my time machine and go back to my cave. Those bison aren't gonna draw themselves, ya know.
This is my long way of explaining to you why it is practically dinner time and I am barely posting this. I mean, I had to do all sorts of downloading and googling and telling my computer what I thought of it when things were "not responding". Respond, I tell you!
It was hard work, yo.
But because I pretty much have the tenacity of a pioneer, I persevered and am able to bring to you these glorious works of art (and just so you know, I just typed the word "cart" 3 times before I forced my fingers to write "art". Pioneer on the brain much?)
So, without any further further ado, I present to you the Borobia homeschool class for the 2011-2012 school year.....
Katie, 5th grade
Lizzy, 4th grade
Paul, Pre-K
And so I will never be accused of favoritism, a collage of the baby as well, even though her "school" will primarily consist of learning not to lick the window screens...
Dude....you would not believe how long it's taken me to put this post together. Sheesh!
But be forewarned: many a picture collage will follow now that I've mastered the art of clicking on things. Go me!
They are all super cute kids. Hopefully they'll be good for their new teacher and not heckle too much.
ReplyDeleteThat is one good lookin school.
ReplyDeleteCute kiddos! what program did you do the collage through?
ReplyDeleteAwesome pictures!! Good job! I was thinking of doing a collage post too, but didn't want to spend time trying to figure it out ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks you guys!
ReplyDeleteJess, I used Picasa, which turned out to be really easy once I figured it out. And my ultra fancy laptop started responding :)
practice your awesome homeschooling skillz and do a blog post (for us fellow bronzed aged babes) on just how to do a collage... then I can start the collage bombardment too!!
ReplyDeleteOooh, maybe I can do that! Someday.
ReplyDeleteI'm starting think that maybe it took so long because I had children climbing on me and then cereal spilled on the keyboard and then there was that diaper situation.....
Great job! I love the pictures in each collage. Now, you must do a tutorial post on HOW to create them! :)
ReplyDeleteAdorable students you have there!!
ReplyDeleteAnd impressive photo collaging!
very cute! I should learn how to do those.
ReplyDeleteI love a good picture collage.
ReplyDeleteI bet you cash money the hardest thing to teach will be teaching that baby not to lick window screens! What is it with babies?!
ReplyDeleteAlso, awesome picture collages. I'm impressed.
Very nice collages!!! Not to diminish your talents, but I think those beautiful kids really do make the collages that much better :)
ReplyDeleteI think I love you. I am pretty sure I do. My name is Sharon and I surfed over here from Betty Beguiles. Basically the line, "I like my sacraments Catholic and my beer cold" is nothing short of genius. and the fact that you throw around the word "yo" and you spelled "ado" instead of "adieu" which makes me mad. So yes. I'll be back, yo. :)
ReplyDeleteI heart Picasa. The collages look great and it doesn't hurt that the kids in them are so darn cute.
ReplyDelete@Sharon- I sure hope when I click on your name it takes me somewhere wonderful where you are in charge, because when you suggest that I'm a genius, I pretty much instantly love you too!
ReplyDeleteFunny! No, I am a real person with a crappy blog. My friend (from California, too! Are you from there? I grew up in Northern CA) just sold her house, quit their jobs and moved to Tennessee on a whim. Funny coincidence. Anyway - like I said before, I think you're fab and I can't wait to read more of your stuff. xo
ReplyDeleteLove Love Love and you are just too funny. Great job with the collages, lady.
ReplyDeleteYour collages look great! And, um...learning not to lick the window screens is super important.
ReplyDeleteAw...cute, cute, cute kiddos. I can appreciate all the effort you put into the collages. But, pray tell, could you tell this cavewoman how to pull together a collage?
ReplyDeleteOkay, that's it. I'm going to do a a Picasa collage tutorial. It'll be my contribution to the good of the world!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the idea of a collage! I think I'll be doing this in my scrapbook this year!
ReplyDeleteYou can order these from lots of places now cheap.
Awesome collages, friend! And, seriously, cute darling children!!
ReplyDeleteI love them!! I love every one; worth the effort! You should hang them somewhere school-related, like over their cubby holes or something ;) I would love to go to your school!
ReplyDeleteAnd if you want to get crazy with the collages, picnik.com is where it's at.
We have 4th & 5th grade girls too. Have a fun year together!
