My friends, I've been so busy (read: puking my face off). You know, just doing this and that around the house (read: falling asleep in the middle of sentences and eating burritos at 2 a.m.). But I had to take a break from all the
barfing mayhem to let Cecilia make this little announcement:
Dear end of June, please get here soon.
Yay!
CONGRATULATIONS! (My sympathies with the barfing... it's the same way with me every pregnancy. Zofran was a LIFESAVER this time around.)
ReplyDeleteOh. My. God!!! Congratulations, Dwija! I was looking forward to the latest in your life story. But this is way better! End of June! Sounds like mama's getting *another* birthday present!!!
ReplyDeleteSoooo, I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say you've been sick because you're having a baby? Am I right?? I'm really good at reading between the lines.
ReplyDeletep.s. CONGRATS!
Oh my goodness!!!! I'M GOING TO BE AN AUNT!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSo happy for you!! Enjoy those burritos ;)
ReplyDeleteWoo hoo! Our first Michigan baby :) The kids are BESIDE themselves with excitement.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I hope the sickness ends soon!
ReplyDeleteYay! Congrats...how exciting.
ReplyDeleteYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI was just about to blame you for passing a stomach bug to me. I have also been puking my guts out. But it's definitely not pregnancy.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOW EXCITING!!!!!!
Also: I'm secretly....
ReplyDelete...jealous.
(shhhhh)
I not-so-secretly know just how you feel! Half the world seems to be having babies right now, and I was feeling all "God must know things wouldn't work out...." but now I'm all "Yay! Things are going to work out!"
ReplyDeleteYAY!!! Congratulations, Dwija! That is glorious news! My daughter was born at the end of June last year, and I WELL remember how I felt during November the year before. So I hope you get your energy back (and stop puking your face off) very soon! Much love!

I'm feelin' boy, Jen. Definitely feelin' boy!
ReplyDeleteOh, Dwija, congratulations to you and Tommy! What a wonderful gift!
ReplyDeleteAwwwww.... I'm so happy for you! I think I read that copious amounts of raspberry leaf tea are supposed to help tremendously with morning sickness. It's worth a try!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! My vote it BOY! Is this a bad time for a Duggar joke?
ReplyDeleteI'm willing to try anything at this point, Kelly!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the whole family Dwija. You picked a good state to live in for a summertime baby!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!! How exciting!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats, Dweej! How exciting. At least there are lots of big sisters to help with poopy diapers, right?
ReplyDeleteCONGRATS!!!

ReplyDeleteYay! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteSo exciting!!!! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteCongrats! Get yourself some ginger it has been proven to help morning sickness. If you were closer I would make you a cup of ginger tea.
ReplyDeleteAlright ALRIGHT!!!! Congratulations!!!!!! I know you probably don't want to hear a ton of remedies for the illness but a friend swears by hazel necklaces for the morning sickness. I didn't find out about it until the sickness part was over so I have yet to try them :) http://www.facebook.com/notes/inspired-by-finn/the-sale-is-on-40-off-youth-adult-hazel-necklaces/281938645179726
ReplyDeleteYAY!! Congratulations! Not for puking your guts out. That would be weird. But for what is causing the puking. You know what I mean. :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I'm pretty partial to June babies. As mom to two of them, they are pretty amazing.
ReplyDeleteCongrats! I am so excited for you! My hubby & I just had this discussion the other day - more? How many more? ;)
ReplyDeleteIf you're asking, you should probably have more Krista! :) I've met SO MANY people who wished in retrospect that they would have had another baby, but no one who has said "Man, if only I wouldn't have had that last kid....!".
ReplyDeleteThese days of yucky pregnancy are so short in comparison to our entire lives. The bustle and chatter around a full Thanksgiving table is a joy that can't be matched :)
OMG!!!! YAYAYAYAYAYAYA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats Dweej!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!! What a blessing! Not that you need advice on "how" to make it through these days, but I've found increasing my protein intake helped with the sickness.
ReplyDeleteCONGRATULATIONS!!! I AM SOOO HAPPY FOR YOU!! You have been blessed with another cutie pie!
ReplyDeleteI have been craving protein SO BADLY this time!!!!
ReplyDeleteTry plain Yogurt (I'm partial to Dannon, full fat kind)with a little OJ concentrate.THE BEST! Like a dreamsicle.
ReplyDeleteI just ate some full-fat plain Dannon yogurt earlier this afternoon! No OJ concentrate in the house at the moment, though. Durn!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting!!! Hope you're feeling better ASAP! and that the barfing stage ends for you! ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat!!?? Oh my gosh! What wonderful news!!!! I am SOOOO excited for you guys! Except the barfing part...that's a bummer. I sucked on peppermints all the time, it helped a little with the nausea, but what am I talking about?! You've been through this to know all the tricks. Sorry for the babbling, I'm just so excited for you!!!
ReplyDeleteWOOOOOOOOOT! I LOVE BABY NEWS MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD!!!! Congratulations Dweej....seriously - what awesome news. (I'm sorry you feel terrible - though that explains the 2 am burrito noshing - I was a bit confused about that part) :D
ReplyDeleteSo SO happy for you and your family. Congratulations. I'm pregnant too and my stern talks with the end of April sound a lot like your talks with the end of June. We've just got to keep our eyes on the prize--sweet little babies.
ReplyDeleteNow I'm off to read your big girls' blogs because I would love to hear their reactions.
Yay Dweej! Super duper congratulations! I'm jealous a little! Yay for everyone!
ReplyDeleteI was reading this thinking - puking? 2am burritos? What is she, preggers? Yes! WooHoo! Congrats all around! And hope you're feeling better soon. :-)
ReplyDeleteThe world needs more Borobias! Hooray!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Well, not on the puking per se, but on the baby. How exciting!
ReplyDeleteI totally just tweeted this but YAYY congrats!! so exciting!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! What happy news. I wondered if this was the news coming when you posted on facebook about smelling a smell nobody else was smelling--LOL! I get that in pregnancy too.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the morning sick all day club. I spent ALL of my last pregnancy sick and ditto this pregnancy. It is good you are getting to have your kids younger because when I was younger it was much easier to be pregnant than it is for me now.
And yeah, nobody says they wish they hadn't had that last kid. They do however wish they had had more.
God bless you and the new little one!!
Yay for you!
ReplyDeleteOh D! So happy for you!!! And I second the one lady who is jealous, because I am sooooo jealous too!!! Except not about the puking part cause I really can do without that! ~ LD
ReplyDeleteActually being pregnant is the WORST part of being a mom, to me Les! Once they're out, I'm golden :)
ReplyDeleteCONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAnother blessing from God. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteGasp! Congratulations!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteHearty congratulations! What a blessing. I hope that the pregnancy sickness eases soon.
ReplyDeleteThank you, everyone! We feel a little like Noah must have felt when he saw that rainbow- God's sign that everything is going to be okay :)
ReplyDelete"If you're asking, you should probably have I've met SO MANY people who wished in retrospect that they would have had another baby, but no one who has said "Man, if only I wouldn't have had that last kid....!".
ReplyDeleteThese days of yucky pregnancy are so short in comparison to our entire lives. The bustle and chatter around a full Thanksgiving table is a joy that can't be matched :) "
