Exhausted Ramblings and what the Fam is Saying

Y'all, I'm that kind of tired.  You know the kind.  With the tingly skin and the dry eye balls and the losing of the balance just a little bit.  As it turns out, doing an itty bitty bedroom redo with four kids in the house is....well, ridonkulous.

Speaking of said redo though, I just looked at the before pictures again and HOLY SCHLAMOLIANS does it look different.  In fact, I think my arm might get a little sore from all this self-back-patting I've got going on over here.

Anyway.

I plan to finish tomorrow.  For real.  And still only the one sneak peek picture to whet your appetites for more:
And now for a little What the Borobias are Saying!  (insert drumroll)

Tommy: You've only got one shoe on.
Dwija:  I know.  I was sewing.

*

Lizzy: I'm going to tear out his pancreas!
Katie: And I'm going to rip out his spleen!
Lizzy: And if he has a gizzard, I'm yanking it out right now!
Katie:  Sorry if we're making you nauseous, mom.
Dwija: No worries.  I'll just keep ignoring you.  As usual.

*

Cecilia: (sitting in the dog's food bowl)  I'm gonna go poo-poo in the potty!

Okay, stay tuned for the reveal, folks.  Coming soon to a computer screen near you.

  2. I think the fact that I was actually walking around like that, with just the one shoe, is what made him bother to even mention it.... :)

  3. Hey - I walk around with one shoe on all the time. I usually get distracted by the dogs, or the phone or something and forget to put my other shoe on...

  7. The room looks wonderful. Stupid question: does one always need to prime? or does it depend on the material being painted and the paint one uses?
    Thanks!

  9. And you've got me beat with one shoe. I never wear any. Every day, my husband accuses me of being a hillbilly! So you are only half a hillbilly.

  13. I'm so glad I'm not the only one who has to sew with bare feet. Except in winter, when it's cold. Then I do it with barefoot.
