Alter a Shirt With Just One Seam

I love, love, love me a bargain.

Woo! I kinda get the chills just thinking about some of the amazing things I've found at Goodwill and the Salvation Army over the years. I mean, there’s just something about finding a great bag or pristine pair of jeans for less than a venti latte at Starbucks that truly sets my heart aflutter. I am what some may call obsessed....

Click here to read the rest of this post over at Fine Linen and Purple and find out how you can fix a shirt with just one seam!

  2. I can get lost in a good thrift shop!! This is a great idea - I need to do this to so many of my blouses, because I'm not very voluptuous in the region between the shoulders and the ribcage. This may give me a whole new outlook on my negative bra size. Thanks!

  4. I love thrift stores but am generally hesitant to alter things. I've used your technique to make a casual slipcover out of a tablecloth for an ottoman.

You did a nice job on the shirt - what a difference it makes !
