Beautiful family- and JACKETS???
ReplyDeleteI know! Shorts and flip flops all weekend, high of 69 today. We could have lived without them of course, but the first jacket day is always exciting :)
DeleteWe picked blueberries today too! I made atk best blueberry muffins tonight. So good!
ReplyDeleteBlueberry Peach Crisp!
ReplyDeletePretty pictures!
ReplyDeleteCheck out Blueberry Sour Cream Coffee Cake on allrecipes.com. (sorry, I still don't know how to turn stuff into a link... I'm next to useless on this world wide web, I know.) Anyway, the recipe... Your morning java will thank you for this addition! (It's an unhealthy dessert disguised as a breakfast food. Ka-ching!)
Blueberry Lime Jam - yum! I have the link here - http://anneryathome.blogspot.com/2013/07/theme-thursdays-rooms.html
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your bounty!
Lime! Lime is the best.
DeleteMy daughter says, "Those blueberries look DEElicious!"
ReplyDeleteThey sure do.
And I am jealous of the jackets. We are literally months away from first jacket day here.
Got an interesting looking blueberry- onion chutney in the cookbook Chris got me for my birthday. I'll post it here later.

ReplyDeleteGoogle "frozen blueberry muffins." Also, friends and I made blueberry freezer jam in Friday (use the yellow box of sure jell and its recipe). Yum!!
ReplyDeleteI seriously have THE BEST blueberry cobbler/crumble recipe. Best topping ever. Email me if you want it.
ReplyDeleteCheck out smitten kitchen's blueberry muffins. best. ever. (I add a little extra lemon zest and double the recipe. Also, make lots and lots of blueberry pancakes.
ReplyDeleteYum blueberries!!!! We like to freeze blueberries and then use them in smoothies (just blend with yogurt). Mostly, we just love to eat them...I may or may not have been known to eat an entire quart by myself in one sitting.
ReplyDeleteI have an AWESOME 1-dish blueberry cheesecake recipe! I think you follow me (nkweber) on Instagram, I posted it on there. Check it out! :o)
ReplyDeleteAnd don't let the word cheesecake scare you. It's not really a cheesecake, more like a "blueberry buckle."
DeleteHa! We did the same thing this weekend. Except we had to pay to work for free...
ReplyDeleteLucky blueberry duck.
I have an amazing recipe for "Wild Blueberry Pie with Almond Crumble Topping." Mmm... I'll email it to you.
ReplyDeleteI just wrote up a post for watermelon blueberry salsa. My kids and husband loved it! Of course, that's only in case you've had one too many blueberry muffins and need another recipe to try.:)
ReplyDeleteOoooh, there is a really good blueberry breakfast cake recipe on catholic cuisine. It is a few posts back. We had it this past Sunday, and I was sad when it was gone.
ReplyDeleteOh this just looks like so much fun! We never really did any kind of berry picking when I was growing up but I've always wanted to try it! These photos have inspired me! (Seeing the yummy blueberries probably didn't hurt at all either tho) I think I know what I'll mention to my husband next time he asks me what I want to do this weekend :) I hope you are well and know that you've been in my heart and prayers!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful pictures! The blueberries look amazing as well. Mmmm, aside from everyone else's recipes above...you could just freeze them and use them for smoothies. We love ourselves some smoothies over here ;)
ReplyDeleteI would be blueberry pound caking all OVER that!!!!! Delish!!! I am not acknowledging the jackets.
ReplyDeleteThe blueberry lemon muffin recipe from the Test Kitchen Family Cookbook is really good.
ReplyDeleteMy Primrose has made a couple of killer blueberry peach crisps. Mmmmm. I think I need to try the sour cram coffee cake mentioned above, though.
ReplyDeleteAnd THANK YOU for the prayers, friend!
ReplyDeleteI like to freeze some -- I mix up a blueberry pie filling/blueberry crisp filling, put it in a gallon ziplock & freeze it flat. It's usually 5 cups of blueberries, a couple spoonfuls of flour & sugar, and toss . . . so not rocket science/Martha Stewart.
ReplyDeleteNancy
This revives my interest to plant some blueberry bushes. Yes, definitely need to work on that...
ReplyDeleteJam! I love making blueberry jam because one batch makes a zillion little jars. I just use the recipe from the low-sugar Sure-Jell pectin box. Soooooo good.
