So I felt super proud of myself for getting a 5 Favorites posted on Wednesday and had
totally planned on including a bonus 6th favorite which was, of course, going to be a picture of our little Chombat the Wombat (a million nicknames, all of 'em). But post-partum brain completely forgot and THEN I got straight called out in the combox. Gah! World's worst mother! So. 7 photos for your enjoyment, which will make this the quickest quick takes I ever took.

And the piece de resistance: the reason INCONCEIVABLE! has become his newest nickname...
"Plato? Socrates? MORONS." Oh yes, we go there. We go all the way there.
Love a nicknaming family! We routinely call our daughter Schmear, and I can't wait to find out what lunacy we unleash on the one to be born in six months!
ReplyDeleteOMG he SMILING in #2!!! That's a smile. He's so happy to be there!
ReplyDeleteWhen I was little, my Dad called me "Weez", short for Weasel. At 57 years old, I still am not sure why, and he never told me (actually, I never asked!). My other alias was provided by my brother-in-law: Pea Nose Prat Face. No idea what was going on with that one! Of course, I was Pea Prat for short. Oh, those were the days!
ReplyDeleteHe is such a sweetheart! Love the pictures, Dwija.
ReplyDeleteThat is perfect! Inconceivable! Whose doing was that? And why do all babies look like elderly men??!!!
ReplyDeleteno. 2!!!!!!!! Oh my gosh, I want to kiss him.
ReplyDeleteI hope you say "Inconceivable!" with a lisp... so adorable! Thank you for sharing!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, I especially love that double-chin in number 3. So sweet and squishy. :)
ReplyDeleteSorry lady! Didnt mean to call ya out ish. Better up the Blood Builder for clearer thinking!
ReplyDeleteNo ish-ing this one. Straight up redemption at its finest. You're the best.
Baby cute, but I still hope you'll write the the right-after-birth story.

Also, he's beautiful!
#2 He looks so much like Paul! But #7 is my favorite. One of my daughters bore a striking resemblance to Mother Teresa during her newborn days.
ReplyDeleteThat's what I thought when I saw #2 as well. You can see the resemblance in the other pictures too but in #2 he looks like a ringer for his brother.
DeleteOh. My. Hormones. I will eat him if I ever get a hold of him!! Love love love!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! <3
ReplyDeleteBless him! When I saw inconceivable in the title I started quoting Princess Bride. And now all day I will be randomly quoting and my family will be 100% confirmed of my craziness!
ReplyDeleteCould he be any cuter?!! No. No he could not. When I saw your title I thought, "oh, please tell me she gets it and it's not just a word." and then you totally went all the way there! Yes! Yes! and YES! This is just one of the many reasons I love you. Fabulous!
ReplyDeleteHe'll do great in Land Wars in Asia. :) They would be some stinkin' adorable land wars, too, I might add.
ReplyDeleteSuch an adorable baby! InconCEIVable! Except that he obviously was conceived. :-)
ReplyDeleteOh. my gosh. So much cute.

My latest baby was a Winston Churchill. "Nevah, nevah, nevah, NEVAH give up." He still takes that to heart. :-D
ReplyDelete#5 just slays me. CAN'T DEAL.
ReplyDeleteHE IS SO CUTE OMG!
ReplyDelete(But you started with the Princess Bride stuff, so now I'm picturing this sweet little scene where you're singing a lullabye or whatever to him, and he's all, NO MORE RHYMES NOW, I MEAN IT!)
