Merry Christmas!

You know that thing where the words are somewhere else and you can't find them?  Maybe you don't even want to find them, ya know?  So I'm gonna slap up some pictures from Christmas (which was lovely and fun and exhausting) and we'll call it a day.  Maybe tomorrow I can come back and be...you know..."interesting".  Maybe.  Or Friday.  Let's shoot for Friday.

Mommy and Ceci have the same hairdo
Lizzy's Santa present- a real bow with arrows and everything!  Can't wait for our first trip to the ER!

Gifts from my bloggy friend Patty.  Visit her blog Another cookie, please! and tell her she's awesome, will ya?

Cooking goodies from my mom.  In case anyone wonders how to make Tommy happy...

Also from my mom, a kids' potato masher, which Paul immediately named "Eggy" and has been toting around ever since.  Seriously, it is his FAVORITE, most cutest present ever.

Hope everyone is enjoying all the days of this Christmas season.  It's definitely been a great one for us!

  1. I've been trying to get Ken to relent and allow the oldest boy an archery set. Keep us updated on all matters bow-and-arrow, so I can submit them when time comes for Joaquin's birthday.

  3. My daughter has that exact same archery set and has really enoyed it. I did buy her a few more arrows on clearance at Walmart (after my husband shot one of her TWO in a tree). Merry Christmas!

  4. I love that the egg/potato masher is his favorite gift ever. Adorable. My niece got tons of presents 'cuz she's spoiled, and yet her favorite is a tiny little puppy and kitty that wag their tails when you pet their backs (it is about the size of a small potato). She won't stop taking them everywhere!

  5. The archery set is going to be the most fun ALL of you have ever had! I am not a "sporty" person, but I found that I am actually quite proficient at shooting arrows with a bow. But, I have to say, institute the rules NOW and always have you or Tommy around when they are shooting (or, "bow and arrowing", as my kids like to say!).
    Merry and blessed Christmas!!!

  6. Oh yes, I know that thing. My words have up and left, too! Maybe they're all hanging out on vacay together somewhere :)

I can't decide which is a more awesome present, a bow and arrow or a potato masher named Eggy!
