I found this written on the small white board in our den today:
You better believe all of that is exactly true, too.
What is wrong with my child? Because I'm thinking this is not super normal.
p.s. Clan Donaldson is hosting their monthly Snapshots from a Sunday post today. Hop on over and check out the little minutes from families all over the world.

The first thing I saw was that it's almost Cici's birthday...what?
ReplyDeleteIt's true! She'll be two next month :)
DeleteDid you ask her where she got it? There's an online calculator she could plug the birth dates into. Otherwise, that's a lot of math.
ReplyDeleteShe did it all in her head, that crazy girl!
DeleteEhm...wow..just WOW!
ReplyDeleteIn my house, we call that "math avoidance activities". But since it's got the word "MATH" right there in the label, it totally counts as academics.
ReplyDeleteI know I couldn't have done that list without assistance of a cold one! OMG the babies gonna be two and soon to be not the baby anymore, incredible how time flies.
ReplyDeleteps found this blog the other day, just fab, know you gonna love it...

I think that homeschooling is paying off. Look at all of that math!!
ReplyDeleteShe just might grow up to be a really cool accountant. You know like me. Minus the cool part, but I'm trying!
ReplyDeleteWell, if this is the only thing wrong with your kid, you're doing something right. Remind me to tell you the story about our kids, a trampoline, a ladder and the roof....
ReplyDeleteHah! If only!
DeleteI'm intrigued about this trampoline story, Elise. Because I don't recall you being my mother, but I do most certainly recall this particular escapade.... ;)
Hahaha!! That's awesome...and I don't think there's anything wrong with your kid. She's one smart chica. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is mighty impressive!
ReplyDeleteHoly crap! This is crazy. :-) George would be so proud if our kid was like this.
ReplyDeleteWell, it seems like a really possibly very good kind of different. But then I have a couple of kids that would appreciate these kinds of stats.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely impressive! I'm enjoying your blog!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I could figure this out for all of my kids, I'm beyond impressed. Normal, maybe not, but who wants normal?
ReplyDeleteHahahaha. Looks like something I would have randomly done as a kid...I've always been a little obsessive-compulsive like that. But I was also never what you might call "normal," I suppose. ;) Was it Katie who did this? If so, could be part of the firstborn control freak thing...the need to keep track of stuff. One of my sisters bought me a book for Christmas about the relationships between siblings, and last night I was reading a chapter about birth order...interesting stuff...
ReplyDeleteYep, it was Katie! I agree...us first borns with our categories and lists :)
DeleteJust making sure everyone understands her place as leader of the pack?
ReplyDeleteGood point. She did hang it on the wall for all to see!
DeleteThat is so great...the stuff I find on our white board usually contains the words "butt" or "booger" so kudos! :-)
ReplyDeleteI used to sit down and calculate exactly how much older than my sisters I was. And then I'd do it for my close friends, though sometimes they were older than me. One friend is three days shy of 3 months older than me... another is eleven days younger... and so on.
