Ultrasound! Ultrasound! 20 Week Ultrasound

Happy 20 week ultrasound day!  Technically we're 19 weeks and 5 days pregnant, in case anyone's counting, with the baby's due date holding steady at June 23rd.

June!

With the sunshine and the warmth and the popsicles and the sun setting at 10 p.m.!

Man, I do love June in Michigan.  I do, I do, I do, I do.

Okay, on to the good stuff.

baby says "Thumbs up for you finally getting to see me!"

"and since I've got my thumb here, my only source of entertainment, why don't I go ahead and take a taste..."
I know.  SO CUTE!

And here we have a little Skeletor action, of course.

Got some fancy spine action, too.  Sweet.

Oh, and cute little footsies, too.  Two of 'em!

So anyway, I guess that's all I've got to say about that.....

Hah!  Just kidding.  Y'all are waitin' for the money shot, aren't ya?  Well, baby was very, very, very stubborn and uncooperative and shooting from one side to the other and kicking and punching the tech's little sensor thingy (because when you mix a Borobia with a Cieslak, that's how they roll, yo.).

But then.  Then.......

 Two legs.

Just two.

Much to my shock and surprise, and despite EVERY best guess of every experienced mother on the face of the earth, THERE IS NO THIRD LEG!

No third leg, my friends.  Yep, that means another girl for La Casa Borobia.

Bring on the pink!

  12. Do we all get to pick a name? A link-up for a contest maybe?

After all, most of us have been here from the onset.

Except for the conception, of course.

    1. That is so generous of you, Lisa! My last newborn summer girl was 10 years ago, so I'm not sure what I still have hanging around. The bigger sizes are easier to fudge, but the tiny sizes...not so much :)

Message me at dwija at houseunseen dot com and we can talk more.

  21. Yay for girls! A roommate for Ceci! Paul will grow up to be the best husband ever with 2 big sisters to watch over him, and 2 little ones for him to protect. Good luck with the name choosing, I'm sure you'll pick a good one :) you have permission to steal my daughter's name if you want. It's Annaliese Florence. That's my favorite name, anyway ;)

But it'd be cool if our next kiddo is a girl, and there's another Ally out there. Also, I'm rather partial to Janet! Congrats on your sweetness. Happy Groundhog Day, girl. Get on your virgin beer partyin... Ginger Beer? Yum.

  39. What a cute little thumb sucker. My husband wanted a boy real bad, but he's gotten used to being outnumbered. It will make Paul an extra good husband or he'll never marry. One of the two. Either way, he'll survive.
