Oh you know, just some old pile of steel....
Taken with a Canon Powershot back in 2006. This week has not really been conducive to architecture searchin', so I done dug in the archives
(linking this up with Theme Thursday at Clan Donaldson. This week: Architecture. Go to see the others!)
{happy}
If you haven't gotten yourself some magnetic saint paper dolls (did you follow all that?) from Magnetic Catholic, immediately stop reading this fool blog and get some. Birthday present? First communion gift? Easter treat? Just for funzies? Yes. All of those. Do it!Anyway, Melissa sent us two new dolls this week and my kids were thrilly mcgidderson to add to their collection. Faaaaaaaaaaaaabulous(with jazz hands)!
Also noteworthy in this pic: 1) toddler sitting on counter ransacking the kitchen drawers and 2) "cow milk" out of magnetic letters, courtesy of the 5 year old.
{funny}
"HAVE GAS? WE DO!"
The kids laugh every. single. time. we go to this store.

We might have a leeeeeeeeeeeetle bit of a fabric problem on our hands. Oh my gosh. Send help.
Saint magnets?!?! I am so thankful for the blogging world. The things I find out, that will help my children hopefully learn how awesome our faith is...so cool.
ReplyDeleteShe is a fantastic artist, too. And such a happy spirit! Totally check her shop out. LOVE.
DeleteOh no. The saints. John Paul would DIE of excitement. But I already promised him he would get a new missal for Easter... What to do, what to do???
ReplyDeleteThey are really so affordable. Get them for Cecilia instead! Fun for all ages.
DeleteOh those St. magnets! Ellen's birthday is all over those.
ReplyDeleteAlso, totally just waiting for our inspection of the new house. We pulled a Dwija and bought it sight unseen! (minus pictures, of course. we ain't that crazy)
Holy moly I think those magnetic saints are so awesome! I'm buying Chesterton right now...
ReplyDeleteI want the magnetic saints for myself!!
ReplyDeleteGo check out all their clothes and accessories. Super, duper fun!
DeleteThe big French provincial-looking piece in blue and yellow needs a special project. But what a treasure trove of fabrics! I let my kids cut out clothes for their dolls and animals. They sew them occasionally, but it's amazing what you can put together with safety pins and ribbons round the middle. Good, creative fun!
ReplyDeleteIsn't that fabric great? My husband, because he is glorious, saw it at Goodwill (it was a curtain panel) and bought it for me because he knew I would love it. It has already made one side of a couple of throw pillows but I think it's destined to also be an insert to turn my purse into a camera bag. We shall see!
DeleteThat is the greatest Eiffel tower pic I have seen. You are amazing, did your kids go with you? If I can subtract correctly, you would have had kids in 2006, n'est pas?
ReplyDeleteYou are too sweet! Blushing over here.
DeleteBack when I was gainfully employed, they flew us to France (I know) so we could tour the company's main office. So I was sans kids (we had just 2 at the time) for 10 whole days. It was a great trip, but my mama heart missed them muy mucho.

ReplyDeleteLooks a bit like you... may have to get it just for that fact. Love Ya
She may or may not have drawn her while looking at a picture of me... *wink wink*
DeleteYou should get it! They are super fun to play with, even for mama ;)
I'm dying with excitement over the saint magnets-- sooo awesome!
ReplyDeleteI love the Eiffel Tower pic! My mom & mother-in-law went gallivanting through Europe and said that it's much different seeing it up close and personal rather than in pictures.
ReplyDeleteOh, and when(ever) we get the farmhouse how do you feel about giving someone some sewing lessons (paid, of course)? Have machine and fabric and dreams of sewing one day, will travel!
I just found the ad on your blog last night! I have been drooling over that and her fabric on Spoon..Spoon... whatever. I don't sew. But her fabric designs make me want to start.
ReplyDeleteEaster baskets, here we come!
Oh no. You did NOT just up the ante on an Architecture Theme Thursday by posting a photo of the EIFFEL TOWER??? Taking out the big guns, eh?
ReplyDeleteSaints magnets for the Easter Baskets. You're a stinking genius. (Although I'm sure you don't really stink.)
