Commence ridiculosity.
Did you know that I was able to go running yesterday after dinner? After putting my youngest to sleep? And do you know WHY I was able to do such a magical thing? Because (brace yourselves)....it was still light out.
Yes! Still light after a late dinner and putting a toddler to bed and then changing into running clothes and then talking to the hubby about why that red chicken was refusing to go in the coop. Still light. And still light when I got home at 8:37 p.m.
You know you like it! |
Oh, and you remember my 3 year-old "photographer" son? He got the camera again.
Enjoy...
Yeah, I know what's going on…you just want to be like me…only more popular :P. All this running after dinner biz, looking like a goofball in pictures…even moving to Michigan where my hippie mom's whole entire family is from. I'm not stupid…just because you have a better blog and are prettier and have moves and wardrobe more like Eminem… yeah… you're not fooling me ;-)
ReplyDeleteI DO want to be like you! 'Cause right now, it takes me, like 13 minutes to run a mile. 13 minutes! And I can't believe I'm saying this, but Destiny's Child is finally starting to annoy me. *sniff* *sniff*
ReplyDeletep.s. Poor Eminem would cry to know that my "moves" were being compared to his "moves.
ReplyDeleteAwesome!
Awww. Look at dweej go, bless her.
ReplyDeleteIt is still light here after 10pm. Top that. And if you can sing the song that is from... then we really are sisters of another mother.
You are adorable and hilarious and your 3-year old is really good with a camera.
ReplyDeleteIn case anyone wants to know how ultra super cool Mollie is (seniors '97 WHUT!), gander at this:

You didn't tell me you were a rap star. A Michigander rapstar that runs :)
ReplyDeleteOh, didn't you hear? My rapper name is Ice Sk8.
ReplyDeleteI love it's clear you take yourself super seriously every moment! :)
ReplyDeleteI am the most somber person you know....
ReplyDeleteLike it? I love it.
ReplyDeleteTo get you back, I may have my 59 year old husband take a picture of me when I get off the treadmill.
Okay, maybe not. Once accused of being too self-revealing, I have found boundaries serve me really well...
Awesome photography. I think he's found his calling.
ReplyDeleteAnd WOOOOT for the late days! I'm getting used to the Idaho sun... summer the sun sets around 10ish? Wha what???
Congrats on the run. I need to get my lazy rump outside for a jog now and then.
Just kinda sitting here, speechless, for the moment. All my visuals of you have been re-arranged.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's the leggings...dunno.
More like the dancing. Yeah, that's it.
Awesome, say I!
Patty
Haha, how do you fend off all those suitors with that sexy little number on?!?! lol. Don't you love how late it stays light?! When we go up to Canada in July, that is my favorite part of the trip. Just makes you feel like you can do so much more!
ReplyDeleteYou are such a dolly. *lol* I love when it stays light out longer as well. Allows me to read outside after work.
ReplyDeleteThe pictures are cute.
Yay for sunshine! Yay for that bottle of wine I spy on your counter!
ReplyDeleteYes! The wine is *CRUCIAL*.
ReplyDeleteAh that much sunlight would be very bad for me. There is no way I would be able to convince my lil hyper ones to go to bed if the sun was still awake! Plus I'm secretly a vampire . . .
ReplyDeleteyou freak! I say that with love, by the way, because I'm laughing at your antics. Joe went through a phase where he took photos of just my tail end. My camera was filled with hiney shots of my own hiney.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, don't you love compression running pants? My mom had to beg me to try a pair on and since then I look for every reason possible to wear them. Well, except running. I haven't done much of that lately, but I do love the forgiving stretch they have when one enjoys a few coors and a dozen or so chocolate eggs.
ReplyDeletePretty much I wear them to minimize the booty-jiggle, which is abundant these days.
ReplyDeleteSomeday I'll have to roll the waistband on those shorts again to get them to stay on. Someday...
GANGSTA!! For some very odd reason I can't stop thinking of titles to 80s rap songs now that I don't actually know the words to so the titles and choruses are going to be stuck in my head ALL DAY now. Thanks Dweej. :p
ReplyDeleteThat is COMPLETELY awesome!! I run at 5 a.m. and I am ridiculously afraid of the dark!! Yay for summer!
ReplyDeleteP.S. nice gloves!!
Haha. Love the pics! I also love these long days. Even if they do make me feel like I should be getting more done . . .
ReplyDeleteWoo Hoo! Great job being motivated to go running at night {after the kids are in bed} and during your personal down time. You rock, my friend!! Hope you had a great run! I'll be at it again tomorrow as well. Gotta train for that crazy half-marathon I just signed up for. Eeek! :)
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Rosann
What? This is TOTALLY my definition of fancy! Don't you tell me I've been wrong all these years!
ReplyDelete16 hours of sunshine? Be still my heart!
Seriously? 16 hours? You lucky duck. Love the photos of you getting down with your bad self.
ReplyDeleteWhat form! What style! You truly are an athlete. I can tell just from those pictures :) And WHOA, 16 hours of daylight? Wait, do we get that in GA, too? I suck at math, so I'll have to ask the hubs when he gets home.
ReplyDeleteYes to daylight...and in Michigan 3!! yup 3 days of sunshine in a row!! How cool is that?? I am a new MI follower to your hilarious blog...love it!! Hope you will visit: http://childhoodmyths.net/blog
ReplyDeleteGah Dweej, you're so uptight...loosen up a bit, will ya...geez!
