7 Quick Takes- My Kids Said...

"Oh no, a moth!  It's going to take me to jail!"

"It's June????  Yay, the baby is coming today!"

"Knock knock- who's there-toilet paper.  Hahahahahahaha!"

"Knock knock"
"Who's there?"
"Tree who?"

My biggest two went on an awesome field trip this week to the Michigan Maritime Museum and actually sailed on this kick a** ship:
The best part is that it was raining and one of the parent chaperons actually had the nerve to suggest that they go on a small, covered motor boat instead "because it'll be so much drier!".  My adventurous, fab children, as well as most others on the trip, politely declined his ridiculousness and proceeded to get soaked, like good children having a good childhood should.  Go them!

For hilarious blog post (not written by me) that includes a photo of my dear husband wearing the world's most dorktastic t-shirt, click here.

And a big congratulations to the lovely Dianna Kennedy, who delivered her sweet Baby 5.0 today!  Check out her twitter feed here for pics of her sweet, chubtastic cheeks.  Not Dianna's....the baby's.  In case you were confused.  Or something.

  1. That is the BEST pic! The first and third ones. Of Cecilia. Quelle artiste you are.

    1. I wish I could take credit for that one! My husband- a man of many, many talents :)

  2. The "chubtastic cheeks" joke is the first thing that made me laugh tonight! Thanks for that!

  3. Has your family discovered the Horatio Hornblower movie series? Ships? Sailors? STAT!

Read the books, though, before giving them to any unsuspecting children. Some of them get... saucy. But the first few in the series are clean, if my memory serves me right.

  4. Your children are awesome. And yay, June! Baby month!

  5. Adorable, as always :) My favorite are the knock-knock jokes...seriously, those abound in generous amounts around these parts...

  6. That ship is *amazing*! So glad they got to experience it, rain or no rain!

  7. Poop jokes are always fantastic! But funnier if you call it "Poo" :)

  8. Aw the made up jokes by little ones... Can't help but laugh anyway! :)

  9. I've got some chubtastic cheeks as well .... just not as delicious as Princess Maeve's! Thank you for your prayers and rockin labor vibes. You've got this next week, baby!
