7 Quick Takes- My Kids Said...

(1)

"Oh no, a moth!  It's going to take me to jail!"

(2)

"It's June????  Yay, the baby is coming today!"

(3)

"Knock knock- who's there-toilet paper.  Hahahahahahaha!"

(4)

"Knock knock"
"Who's there?"
"Tree"
"Tree who?"
"Um....POOP!"

My biggest two went on an awesome field trip this week to the Michigan Maritime Museum and actually sailed on this kick a** ship:

The best part is that it was raining and one of the parent chaperons actually had the nerve to suggest that they go on a small, covered motor boat instead "because it'll be so much drier!".  My adventurous, fab children, as well as most others on the trip, politely declined his ridiculousness and proceeded to get soaked, like good children having a good childhood should.  Go them!

And a big congratulations to the lovely Dianna Kennedy, who delivered her sweet Baby 5.0 today!  Check out her twitter feed here for pics of her sweet, chubtastic cheeks.  Not Dianna's....the baby's.  In case you were confused.  Or something.

  3. Has your family discovered the Horatio Hornblower movie series? Ships? Sailors? STAT!

Read the books, though, before giving them to any unsuspecting children. Some of them get... saucy. But the first few in the series are clean, if my memory serves me right.
