  1. I must admit, I'm jealous that you have chickens. Now, those are words I never thought I'd type.

  2. I love the pictures of your kids. A happy Easter had by all. Nothing wrong with two girls in a dog house. *lol* Your flowers are pretty.
I think you should leave that blue tape up when you are done painting. Its adds to the kitchen. *teasing*

  3. My kids definitely do like to ham it up! Oh yeah, the dog house...we were all outside and they thought it was about to rain so decided they needed to "Find shelter! Quick!" and I was all "Um, we have an actual house right there, ya know" but they had already wedged themselves in there. Goobers :)

  4. Awww... I love the pics!!! Now I wished I bought a $29000 house in the middle of Chicago suburbs!!!

Love what you did with the kitchen door!

And your kids... I notice they're extremely acrobatic! LOL fun, fun, fun!!!!

Where did you get that awfully cute pony???

  5. Oh, I can't wait to get that thing painted!!! The yellow lattice/grey door/white walls/wooden cabinets is just not a good look.

Yes, they are freaks, aren't they? They made their own face paint out of sidewalk chalk and then did interpretive dance in the front yard.

The ponies showed up at the Easter party unexpectedly! One of my cousins just showed up to surprise all the kids. It was fantastic :DDD

  6. Looks like a wonderful, happy, silly holiday! I know I've said this before, but I'm super jealous of your chickens!

  8. FUN! I'm still cleaning up hardboiled eggs and the shells that resulted from the easter egg bomb fight in the back yard. That should start to smell really ripe in a few days.

I want a tiny pony. There are several down the road from me. Do you think they'd notice if one was ponynapped?

  9. I told my hubby the same thing..."Hey a *small* pony would be pretty easy to take care of and...." then he gave me that look that means "devil woman, you best check yo self 'fore you wreck yo self"

  10. Diggin' the blue tape, and the floral just below the chickens, and all the kiddos' pics! Too fun!

  11. That tiny little pony is simply adorable! I MUST have it!!!

It has officially been added to my list of teenie tiny animals I must have...like tiny giraffes and tiny elephants and tiny dragons!

However, I think the tiny pony is probably a bit more attainable! My husband will be so happy to hear I want something he can actually get me for once!! HA!

Looks like you had a splendid Easter weekend, your family is so sweet!

    God bless! <3

  16. The pictures are absolutely fabulous and, yet again, you made me laugh and you were completely wordless this time!

But I do have one observation and one question:

#7 ~ I also have a multi~unit property, where the kids stay when I'm not quite so fond of them
#8 ~ is that a picture of a dead bird?

  17. I need a backyard like yours! My kids would love it! I am your newest follower from the hop and would love a follow back at

    Thanks!

  18. @Daenel- Your comments always make me laugh! "multi-unit property" :D
#8 is not a dead bird, but now that you mention it, it looks like one! Honestly, I took two pictures of the wild flowers in the woods and chose the wrong one...and then was too lazy to switch it out after I formatted. Isn't that the lamest thing you've ever heard??? Hah!

  21. Looks like you don't have 'writer's block' since you posted all this today...but then I guess one excuse is as good as another to have a beer at midnite ;-)

  22. But there's not even any writing, therese! Unless you mean my comments, which seriously do not count. I'm just saying whatever fool think pops into my head! That's more like "talking" and not so much like "writing". And I am TOTALLY enjoying my beer...and all the twitter fun. But am still not writing. Yet.

    I still have time... ;)
