Living Room, Spring, Ernie... (7QT)

As foreshadowed in Monday's post, the crappiness has continued this week with a four day lull between my visits to ye olde blog.  Mea culpa!

(1)
Did you know it got spring up in this piece?  It totally did!  Mr. Camera came with me outside on Wednesday morning (because God is being so so so so merciful to me with this pregnancy that the 2nd trimester is actually.....wait for it....bringing some relief from the barfy sleepiness.  Can you believe it?  I thought that thing was a total lie!) and I snagged a couple of shots of what's going on in the yards:

And open windows and breezes and flip flops and sliced apples on the picnic table outside and chickens laying eggs faster than we can eat them.  And sunshine!  And the garden!  And oh my gosh, I feel like the world is a place I can love again, especially because I can be awake in it.  Amazing.

I'd like to submit the above paragraph for the highly aclaimed "Most Letter As Used in a Single Quick Take" award.

Hey, wanna see something genius I did?  Sorry, I'm showing you anyway.

So I had this desk frame but I wanted to make it a wall frame.  Check it.

I'm a reg'lar Martha Stewart or sumfin.

About that living room....

Here was my Pinterest inspiration (yes, I actually use Pinterest for practical things!  Pick up your jaws!)

Of course I am still not done, what with this modified fake not-bedrest business and all, but here are is a sneaky peek:

  1. Oh, your living room looks beautiful! I am looking forward to the finished pictures.
And your yard! I miss spring appearing like that. It's just not the same in San Diego.
And the bald Ernie is bizzar-o. Really, really, truly.

  5. Oh to be where there are real lilacs! Not that I want to live somewhere else, but that's got to be one of the BEST things about living in Michigan (no lilacs in SoCal, that's for sure!). It seems like you get more energy to tackle big projects when you're pregnant. The living room is looking SO nice (color wise - that's all we can see so far).

  7. We are having Spring here in Seattle like no other-in fact, it is better than the last 3 or 4 summers, we are outside constantly. I don't even want to come in at all-loving spring, and congratulations on your baby on the way and easier pregnancy!!!!

  9. Congratulations on the new littlest one in da belly! I love your random #7 pic. You should do a themed photo post of all the funny and unconventional uses your kids find for various objects! Kids are great at that. :)
