Laundry Room Reveal Part 1! Exclamation Point!

Remember that one time, long ago and far away, when our laundry room was a haven for rodents and threatened to electrocute us and there were holes that led straight to the basement for maximum death potential?

*Sigh*....I remember those days notfondly...

Well guess what?  Just today, a mere two hours ago (on a Saturday, my friends), the contractors finished the contractor work and it is just so beautiful I can't help but show you some details rightthisverysecond even though we haven't put any shelves in or cabinets up or hung window treatments or applied pithy decals to ironing board holders.  YET.  Wanna see, wanna see, wanna see????

If this is your first visit (welcome!  Please don't be scared!  I yell a lot but I'm not {very} dangerous!), you can gander at the laundry room tour of scary before-ness right here and see all of the atrocious scary things.  But here is the main photo....

Impressive, I know.

But now, here is the view of that same door and that same closet.....

There needs to be some kind of magical sound effect right now, doesn't there???? Like... "baaaaaaaaaaZIIIIIIIIIIIIIING!" or something.

Okay, now some more lovely dovely detail shots and then I finish the room for real and do a real actual reveal on another day.  Bueno?  Bueno.

Trim AROUND the heater vent.  We. Are. So. FANCY.

The amount of awe and love I feel for these baseboards going around the doorway of the closet is bordering on disordered.  Just so you know.

And look at that complete lack of tin foil around that light.  It's a thing of beauty, I tell ya what.

    2. I made the mistake of choosing rubber duckie yellow for our kitchen. Now I spend the majority of my time in a room that looks very much like McDonalds. Ugh.
