Unbelievable! Wow! That's like, what my dreams are made of. Whoa! Good work, Dweej.
ReplyDeleteHoly cow, Dweej! You weren't kidding! That is a steal. I'm totally jealous.
ReplyDeleteYou're like the messiah of bargain finds.
Wowza Dweej! Way to go, you should get bargain hunter of the week!! That looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteAre you kidding?! $15.99?!? That's effing awesome. (yes, it's so awesome I had to drop an eff).
ReplyDeleteHow exciting for you!
ReplyDeleteWOW! - That has beat any of my deals hands down. I thought I did good today but you beat me. I am such the Goodwill shopper, that and getting free stuff. As I sit in my family room with two free couches. We should just call you Good Deal Hunting
ReplyDeleteYou Go Girl!!!
ReplyDeleteEither my Goodwill sucks or I'm not nearly the bargain shopper you are. What a great find!
ReplyDeleteThat is AWESOME. Well done, Dweej!
ReplyDeleteSo incredibly jealous!
ReplyDeleteCharlotte, I have never prayed for furniture before, but I had actually gotten to that point with this room. We're going to be using it for our homeschooling work and proects and I just didn't know how to make it all happen without a decent hard surface. And then we walked in and there it was.
ReplyDeleteI literally almost cried!
GOOD LORD... this post has been up for like 45 seconds and I am already numero 900 to comment on this amazing good fortune!?!?! SOOOO popular are you. I am with Grace- awards need to be dished out with your name written all over them.
ReplyDeleteI am now going to say a Rosary before every Goodwill shopping excursion! You have no idea how badly I need a table of this size. You are AWESOME!!!! Can I shop with you???
ReplyDeleteMK, it was another miracle. Like Jesus knew that I was stressing about homeschool logistics and knew that I was thinking "if you want me to do it, make something happen"....BAM! Enormous table for the price of a t-shirt. Crazy!
ReplyDeleteYou.Are.Kidding. Wow. I am so impressed. I'm shopping at your Goodwill!
ReplyDeleteThat is the best deal in history. Good job.
ReplyDeleteDang! I paid 200 bucks for my used dining room table (solid wood, no leaves, has drawers and seats 10), and I thought I was getting a bargain!
ReplyDeleteDrawers sound awesome, Paula!
ReplyDeleteGET. OUT. !!
ReplyDeleteAre you serious? Wow - I'm gonna start stalking my local goodwill store. That is incredible!
I have major table envy. Not that our house has room for a table that size. But still... I want one that big. And the price. I love it when prayers get answered like that.
ReplyDeleteJealous of that workspace! Good for you....be not afraid of your local thrift store.:) Enter fearless, come out a winner....it's how I get ahead in the world!
ReplyDeleteHoly dining set! That is 1/100 of what mine cost :( Sure wishing I had that money now for stuff like... food... gas... rent. I miss a booming economy... You are the dumpster diving diva, for sure :)
ReplyDeleteGood job! There's nothing like the satisfaction of getting a really good deal. Every time I see certain things in our house, I feel compelled to remind my husband of my thrifty ninja tricks that led to their acquisition. I see you are a master as well *bows*.
ReplyDeleteHoly cow! Looks like I need to start hitting up the Goodwill a little more frequently!
ReplyDeleteSuch a deal. Makes me feel like I should bargin hunt more often!
ReplyDeleteSWEET! I love thrift stores, oh yes I do! There's nothing quite so exciting as getting something for WAY less than it originally would have cost. Excellent thrifting, my friend!
ReplyDeleteWOW!!!!!! I seldom use exclamation marks, but this bargain steal calls for punctuation emphasis. Great find. Don't you just love it when you find such a bargain. You are smart, smart shopper.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Audrey! I wish I could take credit, but it was really just absolute good fortune. I didn't haggle or research or anything :)
ReplyDeleteWhen we got married 25 years ago ALL our furniture came from Goodwill. We used to paint it and do all sorts of fun things with it. Now I have some "real" furniture -- but last year I got a leather couch from IKEA's "as is" room for $49!!!!! It had fallen off a forklift and the inside base broke. My husband made a box base for it and we had a REAL leather couch! The next time I went in, they had a matching floor model on sale for less than $150, so we got TWO $400 couches for less than half the price of one. And the floor model couch was immaculate. And we STILL have some of our old Goodwill furniture because it is still cool!
ReplyDeleteSweet! I love thrift store furniture finds. :)
ReplyDeleteWe inherited our dining room table from my husband's mother (who inherited it from her parents) and I love it! It also has three removable leaves and the sides can drop down so it can go from enormous to super tiny. Unfortunately it needs to be refinished (and I don't have the courage to try to do it myself due to being a family heirloom) so I have to keep a table cloth on it at all times. BTW if you ever need a table cloth large enough for your table check Target at Christmas time. Not in their usual table cloth section but in the "here are special table cloths/placemats/runners/napkins/chargers/etc for Christmas" section. (Especially when they go on clearance!) Table cloths big enough for my table are usually around $25 but I found a nice one for $7 right after Christmas a couple of years ago. ;)
Holy crap!!! That is awesome! And I thought your bread machine was a good deal!! What other bargains did you find there?
ReplyDeleteBorobia Academy is all set to go!
Note to self: Thou. Shall. Not. Covet.
ReplyDeleteGod knew you needed a boost. ;-) enjoy!
You're like the Smart Martha Stewart.
ReplyDeleteSuch a great deal!
ReplyDeleteFantastic!!
ReplyDeleteI love your table! I have a friend whose Dad made her a table to seat all 12 kids with room for friends, I love her table too. Mine does not do as well for cutting out material.
ReplyDeleteI have two recliners in our house that were like $20 each at the local thrift store. One is so pudgy that is is the perfect chair for nursing a baby.
Hubby likes to shop thrift stores.
Um, wow. Again, jealous of your house. I want a dining room. I don't even need a table. Just another room would be nice, please!
ReplyDeleteGood deal :)
