Is it so sad that looking through everyone's What I Wore Sunday posts has become one of the highlights of my week? I want to say, but I won't. You know why? Because it makes me feel like we all kind of get to hang out together. Making this virtual community even more of...well, a community. And that's what I really love, more than anything else, about this whole internet thing.

It appears, dear friends, that I am a one trick pony when it comes to ye olde color palette. I mean, these are the EXACT same
colors that I wore last week despite the fact that I've not duplicated a single article of clothing. I even didn't wear the glorious tall boots of glory! Yet still. Twinkie of myself.
Anyway.
corduroy blazer by Aeropostale: $1 from local consignment shop
short-sleeved, square neck brown top by A'Gace: bought on clearance five years ago
dark-wash straight leg Levi's signature jeans: $3.99 from Goodwill
Snazzylicious short boots, bought in December '06 at a shoe shop in Bordeaux, France. For more than all current articles of clothing combined, I'm sure. It was raining that day.
bobble necklace: birthday prezzy from the mama
watch: Christmas prezzy from the hubby 6 years ago
And what would a WIWS post be without me embarrassing myself publicly? Time to take one for the team!

Really, you have got to join in the fun (and it really is so much fun) over at
Fine Linen and Purple. Do it. I insist!
You're adoreable and love those boots!
ReplyDeleteWow, I'm going to have to start dressing better if I do this. On Sundays, at least... ;) Love your outfit!
ReplyDeleteIt's true! Makes me take a second to think about what I'm wearing rather than throwing on the same thing I wore last week. Although...I kind of failed in that department this time anyway ;)
DeleteLove love love the blazer!!!!! I gotta figure out how to wear one.....i always feel like I'm playing dressup!
ReplyDeleteI think the fun(ish)color and the corduroy make it easier to wear without feeling silly...but I still struggle with feeling just a little silly. Like I don't feel grown-up enough to pull one off or something!
DeleteI'm loving that blazer Dwija! I'm glad you're looking forward to this every week because I totally do too! :D
ReplyDeleteAwesome outfit!
ReplyDeleteAnd what's this about being a one trick pony?! I am going to have to object and insist that having a well-thought out color palette that works for you (as this one clearly does--lovely!) is a sign of brilliance and knowing what you need with clothing.
Ooooh, I like your "brilliance" theory. Much better than mine!
DeleteI love your hair! So flattering! And the blazer, and jeans, and the boots, and the goofy face in the last photo!
ReplyDeleteLove the blazer!
ReplyDeleteCord blazer and those boots! See this is why you should do a workshop!
ReplyDeleteOoo!! Make it a blogger workshop, host it, and then you'll not only have been to one but have hosted the damn thing! Go you! :)
I thought I would end up just linking up once, but it is fun to check out everyone's gear! Love the boots!
ReplyDelete$1 jacket? It's awesome!
ReplyDeleteAlso, nice boots.
The boots are my fave, but I think I need your mojo for thrifting...WOW!!! I did manage to do well for Halloween props, but girl..you got it going on!!
ReplyDeleteI told myself I was going to do this last week, but I forgot! Next week! Ummm, on those boots, yep, I'm pretty sure you had to buy them because they are KILLER!!! :)
ReplyDeleteRight? I truly had no choice.
ReplyDeleteLove the blazer! And your mama has good taste in necklaces!
ReplyDeleteLook at you looking all snazzy and SLIM! Dang woman! What baby??
ReplyDeletePsh. I don't even have the clothes to pull one of these off. I am SO unstylish. :( lol
ReplyDeleteLOVE your necklace, btw.
ReplyDeleteYour hair looks adorable! And I love the boots. The colors look great on you - why mess with what works?
ReplyDeleteLove the blazer! I need to figure out your trick to classy yet casual blazer wearing!
ReplyDeleteStick with what works! Those colors look great on you! And the boots are outstanding!
ReplyDeleteI love your jacket here. I wish I had the shopping saviness to procure one and have it fit well like yours does.
ReplyDeleteThe jacket rocks, and the the whole time I'm thinking, "Thank goodness it wasn't a molting chicken that photobombed those pics."
ReplyDeleteI need me some sassy boots! That will take my focus off of putting together an outfit based on ease of nursing and concealing post pregnancy weight. Yes, sassy boots will solve all my clothing problems.
ReplyDeleteYou are a girl after my own heart! I love EVERYTHING about this outfit! You look great, now I need to figure out how to duplicate it! :)
